Vexus Fiber to Merge with MetroNet

Alston & Bird client Vexus Fiber, a telecommunications provider and portfolio company of Pamlico Capital, has entered into a definitive agreement to merge with MetroNet, a leading fiber-optic network provider. 

The combined companies are dedicated to connecting America’s underserved cities and towns by bringing state-of-the-art fiber-optic connections for workers, businesses, schools, hospitals, government facilities, and homes and will continue to operate under their current brands with their current leadership teams.

Vexus Fiber currently operates fiber-to-the-home networks in Lubbock, Amarillo, Wichita Falls, Abilene, and surrounding areas in Texas, as well as Hammond, Covington, and Mandeville in Louisiana. 

Headquartered in Evansville, IN, MetroNet is a fiber-optic internet company focused on providing cutting-edge fiber-optic communication services.
