Kayla Hardimon Butler is an associate in Alston & Bird’s Litigation & Trial Practice Group. She represents clients in a variety of general commercial litigation and class actions. She was previously a summer associate and associate for large firms in New York.
While earning her J.D., with honors, from Columbia Law School, she served as the articles editor for the Journal of Race and Law, a teaching assistant, and a research assistant, as well as the president of the Empowering Women of Color organization. Before law school, Kayla taught school in Jacksonville, FL, then was a manager for Teach for America. She received her B.S. in journalism, cum laude, from Ohio University.
