Kayla Hardimon Butler represents clients in a variety of complex commercial, health care, and antitrust litigation, including class actions. She was previously a summer associate and associate for multinational firms in New York.

During her secondment with a renowned global beverage company, she acted as in-house counsel, handling vendor disputes, privacy issues, and threatened claims and litigation brought under Title III of the Americans with Disabilities Act.  She also advised various business segments on issues related to licensing policies and procedures and product changes.

While earning her J.D., with honors, from Columbia Law School, she served as the articles editor for the Journal of Race and Law, a teaching assistant, and a research assistant, as well as the president of the Empowering Women of Color organization. Before law school, Kayla taught school in Jacksonville, FL, then was a manager for Teach for America.
