Trenton Hafley

• Defending a leading wireless telecommunications company in a series of mass arbitrations following a recent merger and obtained dismissal or settlement on several arbitrations.
• Advising for profit and non-profit entities in collegiate athletics on name. image, and likeness rules and laws including advising on entity formation and mergers.
• Advising a leading home building supplies manufacturer in antitrust issues related to Hart-Scott-Rodino Act filings, merger compliance, and in response to a government investigation and second request.
• Representing a leading insurance provider in a privacy class action.
• Representing a publicly traded advertising company in competition-related federal and state government investigations and litigation, including subpoena and deposition defense.

Trenton Hafley focuses his practice on complex litigation and government investigations in myriad disciplines including antitrust litigation, class action litigation, product liability litigation, and other complex commercial litigation for clients in an array of industries.

Before joining the firm, Trenton was a judicial intern for the Hon. Kathleen O’Malley for the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit. He received his J.D. from George Mason University where he served as the associate articles editor for the George Mason Law Review. During law school, Trenton worked as a research assistant to former Federal Trade Commission (FTC) Chairman Timothy J. Muris on a variety of antitrust issues. He also worked as a law clerk for the Office of Policy Planning at the FTC.
